Cassandra Love
Cassandra Scott-Love is a dynamic, high energy, preacher, teacher and empowerment coach that approaches her God ordained life assignment from the standpoint of “being created by God to be a solution not a problem”. She is the “knee baby” of four children born to the late Charles and Nancy Scott. She credits her parents for inspiring her to be “helper of mankind” as they were civil rights leaders and forerunners for the New Jersey Long Shoremans Union. She is the wife of her childhood sweetheart Reverend Charles F. Love for 44 years and the mother of three sons; Charles F. Love III , Caleb Love Sr. (deceased), and Cahil Love Sr. and mother –in love to wonderful women of God, LaShaunna, Kelly & Christine. She is the doting grandmother of ten magnificent grandchildren.
She is an ordained Reverend and Assistant Pastor at Bethel New Life (BNL) Community Outreach Church, East Orange, NJ, under the leadership of her beloved Senior Pastor Sidney Walters and Executive Pastor Sesanie H. Walters. She serves and provides oversight for the Praise and Worship Ministry, Church school, the Youth Ministry and Pastors Aide Committee. Moreover she is a passionate mentor and role model to men and women alike. More recently under the leading of the Holy Spirit, she and her husband Reverend Charles Love began RESET Ministries, created to assist believers in developing relationships not religion with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Pastor Love earned her Master’s degree in Counseling with a mental health specialization from Caldwell University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Nationally Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and Certified Anger Management Facilitator (CAMF). She has worked in the human services field for over 25 years. Currently she is employed as the Project Director of the Medication Assisted Treatment Prescription Drug and Alcohol Program at Integrity House. She is the Founder and CEO of C-Luv-N-Me Enterprises, LLC, where she provides a plethora of empowerment services and is known for her trademarked slogan and training: “Get Your Mind Яight ™”. She is a founding board member of the Caleb Love Foundation, Inc. a nonprofit that exists to connect with vulnerable underserved populations through benevolence and the provision of education prevention and social justice initiative that strengthen and empower individuals, families and communities. Additionally she provides Christian therapy for adults and adolescents. Pastor Love is a certified teacher for the Evangelistic Training Association (ETA) and teaches classes for the UMAE church and Boulden Seminary.
Pastor Love is a community activist and organizer. As such she is the recipient of numerous City of Newark Mayoral/ City Council resolutions and community service awards for her work to empower individuals and in the fight against substance use/abuse. Moreover she is the recipient of the City of Newark Phenomenal Women Award and Newark Public Schools Community Service Award. She has been recognized by her church BNL for her years of outstanding commitment and dedication. Pastor Love is spirited filled and empowered by her faith and the word of God. She is a transparent overcomer with a testimony and declares Psalm 107:20: “He sent his word, and healed ME, and delivered ME from my destructions. “
